Project X featured on CNBC
Our Project X video was featured on CNBC recently. The piece was titled: “The New Industrial Revolution – Building Better, Cheaper, and Faster” and featured a number of visualization videos. The story was telling how BIM (Building Information Modeling) is helping architects become more efficient by using “intelligent” design systems like Autodesks Revit. I have included the video below. The first shot is at 1:07 and the second is at 1:28. Congrats the the Krusty Krew!
The story was not without controversy however as the only BIM software developer that was mentioned was Autodesk while the software running on the PC behind the Architect they were interviewing was a program called ArchiCAD by a company called Graphisoft
Project X was of course created in AutoCAD Plant 3D by some really amazing people

Great story, in that it highlights the rapidly evolving field of architecture. Bad reporting because they didn’t get their facts straight.
