Default Supports w/ Shop_fld value =1

Currently AutoPLANT defaults supports to a Shop_fld value = 0. When iso's are run they fall under erection items in the BOM. Currently I am Updating the components to change this value, as the edit component function doesn't give me this option. This works well except inevitably I forget at least one support and have to go back and update it.

Is there a way to assign supports a Shop_fld value =1 prior to placing them?

Hi Dag

Maybe you can set the "component Update Preferences" first ,and add the "shop_fld" field.
Then when you update ,you can use the advanced method and set the "Define Query" as follow:
"Define Query" :"3D Piping data"
"Attribute Field" :"class"
"Constraint": =
"Attribute value":At_support_*
Then you can update all supports at a time.

Many advantages to your solution. Base Supports and Pipe shoes can be selected this way (which in my case are the only shop components) while the Hangers and misc. field supports are simply omitted from the selection in the Attribute Values.

I appreciate how you simplify the problem rather than complicate the answer. B)
