EDE Window not coming on

Been a while since I've been on here. Glad to see SPPID has been added.

Speaking of which, has anybody ever come across an installation where the Engineering Data Editor Window refuses to open (but all other windows work fine)? I figured I would ask here before re-installing the darned thing...

How is the new version? I heard there is a stand-alone EDE module, is that true?

Check your registration for the window location of the EDE. Find the correct window locations from the registry on a working version od SPPID 2007 and copy those values into the registry on the broken SPPID.

Dave, that's why your in the denver office. The EDE has been a problem before, but since the installation of sp2 of sppid 2007, it seemed to fix it. Try deleting your temp files in your user profile. That always seems to work.

ammdumas, did Chris_Calgarys fix work?

Simply delete the registry folder of current user-software-intergraph-application - smartplantp&ID.application,


this will reset all P&ID window layout back to out of box.
