User comes to me and asks me to enter a new fluid code value in data dictionary fluid code select list. So I do and save DD. He opens the drawing and checks to make sure his Fluid code has the new value which it DOESN'T.

I draw a new process line and voilla, there it is along with all of the other fluid codes that should be there. So I take a 'old' line and and connect it hoping it will update from the new line. What happens is that the new line then inherits the old lines properties and reverts back to the 'old' Fluid Code select list.

I have updated the drawing. I have also forced a re-create but to no avail. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I created an assembly of the drawing and placed it into a new drawing. Same thing.

I am getting this error in the log file when I open the drawing

"Error: P&ID attribtue set missing on graphic
Info: Graphic.Name = Point2d 41762"

I looked it up and it's to a piping point on another drawing.

Turns out this a problem with the line was the fluid code. Even when I placed a new line on the drawing - it would revert back to the fluid code select list that existed when the older line was created. It sounds crazy but that's the fact. To clear it, the user had to delete the fluid code from the property field and enter out of it. Then, when they selected the drop down box for fluid codes again, it would have the updated list. w e i r d
