Hi Dave,
In the menu bar it is possible to choose "Today's posts". It would be nice with an "Unread posts" for those of us who is not using RSS and only visit the page every now and then.

Hello Bundsbaek,
You can actually modify how far back you want threads to display from. See my below photo.
The setup is located under your User CP (control Panel) under the edit options tab. Once you select that scroll 3/4 of the way down the page and you will see the thread cut off selection.
