Valve Drawing Text

In a certain P&ID a fellow co-worker was working on, when he tries to place text in the Drawing Text field, he hits ok and nothing displays on the P&ID. So, he re-catts on the valve and the text has disappeared. Very odd...

So upon looking deeper into it, I noticed that under the Type field, it also doesnt show the type of valve. So now im really confused, the size has the two stars next to the Size field showing it's intelligent, also you can catt on it. The rest of that P&ID seems fine, but for some reason, the valves are acting funny.

is it a new project? Make sure your valves are set to "3" in p&id/preferences/drawing modes/annotation/components. As far as the type goes, are you pulling that information from a spec .mdb file?

Yeah it's setup on "3", I dont think it's pulling a spec from a .mdb file. Ill have to check into that but im pretty sure it isnt. Here is something else that just randomly started happening...

If so, rename the old Schema and replace it the Schema.mdb from another project.

It works on every drawing but that single drawing.

Well I can't come up with anything. Time to give Brandon or Ron a call...

Sounds like it. I would make an assembly, delete the drawing and create a new one.
