Quick question:
AutoPLANT XM Drawing Flattener. Thumbs up or Thumbs down.
The Flattener for 8.6 was inconsistant for us.
We are trying to come up with a standard for flattening drawings. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thx

We have had pretty good success with the XM flattener. The only problem we have found, it will not work on any drawing not turned square to the UCS.

Thanks Monk. For us, it seems to miss lines now and then, but nothing major. 8.6 always seemed to crash. We thought of Creating a DWF, then converting it back to DWG, worked fairly well for what we tested, but seems like a workaround.

so the XM flattener is having issues with say isometric views of drawings??? Does it seem more stable than the version in 8.6?

We've only had the XM product of AutoPlant, but from what I understand from Bentley, this problem with the Isomentric view has always been a problem.

We are able to flatten isometric views it just has to be broke into pieces and reassembled once flattened.
