Colby,
problem is that my pipers have drawn pipe and fittings with a defined spec which has a Calc pipe instead of a proper Schedule as the Engineers did not know what the Sched would be early on but the pipers needed to get on with design. Problem is now I need to change the Calc pipe to the proper sched instead of just changing the Calc in Spec Gen to the proper sched as this will duplicate items within the spec and we don't want to do that.
When I use the routine to change items it only will change fittings and "sometimes" pipe. I can't figure out why it will change some pieces of pipe but not others. I thought for a while that it was just vertical pipe that it would not change but now it seems to jsut pick and choose.
Overall what I want to do is change the sched of the pipe but leave the spec and dinensions the same. Don't want the pipers to have to redraw all the pipe as this will take a long time.
thanks

The command's usage have a premiss:
In a pipeline must have some fittings. This fittings can set Anchors, the pipe can know shorter or longer.
So when you use the command,do not select only pipe, you can select the pipe and fittings of connecting the pipe.

So if I am understanding you right, you are saying to anchor and select only the fittings not the pipe. will the pipe be able to change or will I have to have the users redraw the pipe between the fittings?
thanks

Hi, Aplant Monkey
If you want to change the pipe's spec and redrew it automatically, the pipe must has components at it's two ports, the components can be the Elbow, Tee, etc, and you need select the pipe with these components.

OK I get all that but it still does not work all the time. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Hard to figure out why. I know now that I must have both port occupied for the pipe to change but like I said it only changes some of the time.
