Just tried an no luck here. spent my load at the BE conference. Strange place to hold a conference during Hurricane season even if it is inland.

Strange place to hold a conference during Hurricane season even if it is inland.

That was my thought when I saw "Mississippi", but 20 minutes from Memphis isn't exactly hurricane country...

One of the things on the agenda is a working group for creating a 'wish list'. Maybe we should be like AUGI and come up with a top 10 list on this board.

I have attended this groups meeting for the last 5 years. It is a fun group of people and you can't beat the price for the training class on Wednesday. That is what sold it to our managers to letting us go. We do have authorization to go this year but one of us may have to opt out when the time comes nearer because of work load. Hopefully we can put faces to virtual world.

Hi Dave,

No golf for us. We had a 10:30 am flight. :(

The meeting went very well. It is nice to meet others face to face. See demos of how others have used the programs etc.

One amazing thing was the High Definition Survey. You had to be there to see this thing work. They scanned the room and then open it up in AutoCAD and what you see is bunch of intelligent dots. It outlined the people in the room. Just pure amazing.

I am waiting for the email list from the President of the Group so I can send everyone that attended a link to this site.

I heard you had contacted Jim from Monsanto (? Spelling).

Hopefully we all can meet up next year. :)

P.S. Pictures might be posted on the Bentley User Group Web Site. If not I will email the president for them.

Great Tom, thanks for the update! Was there anyone from Bentley there that we might know?
It is nice to meet others face to face. See demos of how others have used the programs etc. Did you see anything groundbreaking (Autoplant) or was it pretty standard?

I emailed Jim a while back but never heard back from him. I am glad to know he remembered the site. Also, I am looking forward to those pictures! Thank you very much for plugging our little effort over here. I appreciate it. I hope to see everyone next year at the conference.

Dave,

We missed out Friday’s demo of the supposedly new and improved Navigator.

Heard the XM version has a feature like the old 2.0 version.

Bentley Personnel: Rick Scotty, Jeff Mumford, Clark McDonald, Tony De Rosa and a few others. Umm and the new big wig was there also.

One down side I didn't hit any slots this time :(
