View Full Version : Insufficient Memory To Open Drawing

This is a new one for me. Here are the problems and symptons of what I am/was experiencing.

-- Document Manager would not display the preview of the drawing and would eventually freeze up in you clicked on the drawing and the Document View tab was selected. If the Properties tab was selected, then it would display all of the properties without a problem.
-- Once you clicked edit, AutoCAD would open and it would either freeze, or it would give me the Insufficient Memory error message with 3 options of Abort, Ignore, Retry.
-- If you select Retry, it just keeps repeating the error message
-- Abort, closes everything down except Document Manager
-- Ignore freezes up AutoCAD and still attempts to open the drawing. It then becomes a major PITA to try and end the process of acad.exe in the task manager.

Anyone else every had this problem? It's only 1 drawing and no other drawing has given me any problems.

Same drawing every time? Even after a reboot?

Same problem. If I try to open it using Native AutoCAD... I get the error. If I go to the file and open it directly, same error. If I click Edit.... same error.
