In the Xm version of auto plant my nozzles are not working! just wondering if this was a bug that anyone else hase been experiencing?

Equipment>Nozzles>On Equipment>Radial

When trying to attach the radial nozzle to a horizontal vessel I get sent into a circular set fo commands. It first prompts me to select the equipment. I do this. Then it asks me for the tag number, okay done. then it asks me for the general information for placement, great got that too. then it sends me to select the equipment again. and then it just keeps cycleing through this process. Please help can't move on till the problem is fixed! :(

I believe it is asking if you want to place another nozzle. The first should already be placed. Just press enter or escape to exit the command.

(That is what happens for me)

Looking at your steps, you are using the imperial environment, but are using mm sizing. My test in the MMetric worked. I also tried it in the Sample Imperial environment with the CS150 spec and it was OK. I didn't use your dimensions though.

We are using the same XM version and patches, but we are using AutoCAD 2005.

I have installed the software in other computers and the error is the same.
I have tried with Autocad 2008 and 2006.
Do you have a previous version of Autoplant Plant Design installed in your Computer?

I have instelled Autoplant V8i (08.11.06.30) with ACAD MEP 2008 and ACAD MEP 2009 (on two different computers)
I have trouble putting flanged nozzles on equipment (vessels, HX). Usually program doesn't draw any nozzle on vessel, only some strange shape on position 0,0,0. I test with MMetric and MCS600 spec (6" RF). I also find this problem with other specs.

Does anybody have solution for this problem?

I have heard of this with XM but never v8i. there is a patch avail for XM but I am unsure if it would be working with v8i. you may want to verify with Bentley TSG
