Drawing Audit

Im curious about the Drawing Utilities --> Audit tool. What exactly does it search for and what exactly can it "fix"?

Is there any benefit to using this for P&ID's? Just being curious...

I'd like to know too. In some quasi-logical way I understand but I would like to read about it in the manual.

Hop on the Autodesk web site... Go to the knowledgebase and look for "TS59473". This article has a pretty good overview of what the audit tool does. It's really a low level tool, and I don't see it hurting P&IDs unless the drawing really does have a problem. I also don't see much benefit in running it all the time. I've been using Autocad for 21 years, and the only time I use the Audit/recovery tools is when it's obvious there is a problem...

thanks for that DW. On that note, anyone know what the "repair" command actually does in P&ID?
