Hi all,
Do any of you use a document managment system ?
AND do you use it in combination with AutoPLANT ?
If so : how do you manage changes, revissions, access rights, multiple versions of same document , ....

At this moment we keep AutoPLANT out of our document managment (own development, we only post pdf of reports or finished dwg's) but we want to move to something more performant. We know about documentum, projectwise and meridian. I would like to know if there are other tools and the benefits and problems of each.

we are implementing MS sharepoint services at our company. Though at first it will only be for Corporate / HR / Safety documents, I have been tasked with coming up with ideas of how to utilize Autoplant with SP. I like the idea of the built in revisioning system and the photo library looks pretty cool too. It's all SQL based so it's indexable, reportable, scaleable and searchable. I am pretty excited.

Does anyone use ProjectWise? Is it worth the investment for a mid sized company?
