Why is this folder created. I just went in to open a drawing in strait Autocad. The drawing I opened was the old version. I looked in the root folder and saw PID_Dwgs1 folder. There it was. Vision sees the correct drawing, I about crapped myself as these drawing are being issued today.

Dave:

I don't know the exact reason this happens, but read through the following thread for some associated information.

Ah yes, the folder was created when the project was copied from one to another. No one *cough* Dave *cough* caught it.

hey,i know the reason y that folder was created. You can open the project.ini file of your project.Under the paths section.pl check only default path should be there. If there are any oter paths below that.it leads to creation of more folders..Sometimes you may get P&ID_DWG1 ,P&ID_DWG2 ,P&ID_DWG3 as well.
You can correct this by removing the extra paths from that ini file.

all,
take care when deleting paths from project.ini. If the variable that points to that path is used in the DOC_REG table, you will loose the drawings that are referenced by that variable.
