Carl Brock from Bentley told myself and tw_echo a few months ago in a training course that he was finishing the 8.6 version of the relationship diagram. Can anyone upload it to the site or send it to me via email? Thanks!

I noticed you put this in the downloads section. Good deal. Do you know if there is a data dictionary floating out there that has explanations for the various fields, what Bentley expects them to be used for, etc.?

Maybe if there is not one from Bentley, someone else has put one together...

Thanks

Derek

I'm sure they have something. Bentley has done an aweful job in my opinion communicating to thier users about features and providing easily accessible support documentation. Just my $.02

Somewhat related to the discussion...

In the 8.6 Equip table, they've added fields for Design Pressure and Temperature. So far, so good. We can use them. But why oh why did they add units to the Field names ('DESIGNPRESSPSIG' and 'DESIGNTEMPF')?

Then they have PRESS_MIN and PRESS_MAX. Okay... why didn't they take a step back and say "all of our variable related fields are going to start with the variable, then the particular thing to be put in the fields...so we can have a pressure section that is made up of the fields PRESS_MIN, PRESS_MAX, PRESS_DESIGN, PRESS_UNITS?

If someone can point me where the downloads section and the the 8.6 version of the relationship diagram are, it will be greatly appreciated.
