Adding an app to Vision

How can I make it so that Vision can handle other applications other than CAD such as Word or Excel and have the Vision interface default to these appications? I have tried going to FILE > Applications > Add and listed the new Reg App etc. but to no success. The default application always comes up with dwg
Any instructions out there that has anything to do with Vision customisations or tricks?

Dave, I don't have Vision just regular Doc Manager, but if you go to Viewer and File Type Setup... maybe that is what you are looking for? I could be wrong though...

Thanks Hybrid, that sounds right. I actually copied this post from one posted by my friend Jun Lee at the Bentley forums. I am going to get with cadgirl today, she's uses Vision everyday all day. ;)

I have done this with Excel. Take a look at the attachement and see if that helps.
