I'm having display issues with your systems. we are running autoplant on ADT-2006. after zooming and panning around while placing pipe in the model newly drawing pipe will not display however if you run your cursor over it it will highlight. sometimes switching from wireframe to shaded help restore the problem for a bit. the only real fix is to restart the systems and every things fine. What obscure setting am I missing or have forgotten. Im running the .hdi driver for the graphic show silhouettes in wireframe is checked. we are also running 2 gb memory and have ati firegl v3100 video cards.

If you are using 3D wireframe you will still have a hard time viewing pipe at times. It will highlight but will not be visible. Our solution to this is to use only 2D wireframe as this problem seems to go away with that

Thanks, it sound like autodesk needs to work on this but at least you have given me a bandage for the problem. I have posted this on both bently's and autodesk's sites and autodesk has asked for a referance file to look at.

Andersun,

In the ACAD view menu go to shade and set it to 2D Wireframe. We hade the same issue and it is a basic setting that is overlooked. See if this helps.

Yeah 2d wireframe was our fix as well.
