I starting to learn P&ID from short period so please be patient for these question
what's the meaning of claims in the P&id

So if you enalbe projects, so that your database has a "as build" and a "Project" part, then you can have more than one project at the same time.
Say PID drawing 1 has an "as Build = Plant" version and there are 2 projects defined: "Mayor revamp" and "Maintenance"
Then one or both projects have to CLAIM the PID and/or the objects on the PID to say to the other projects that they have the possibility to change this object.

This explaination is bit confusing or say not enough to understand it well for the beginners... could you explain it step to step with respect to some examples.?
