Documents marked X in Relationship Manager

when i open relationship manager and then view documents, some of the documents have a red X thro' their filenames. the one thing they have in common is that they were created outside of the 3D PDW package e.g. datasheets (*.xls), native acad dwgs (*.dwg)...for the moment i am ignoring this, however it does concern me. is this as it should be or am i gonna have a problem further into the project?

Those documents marked "X" may become a problem if you need to package the project at the end of the job. If you don't need to package the project for delivery to a client you should be OK to continue as you are.

The red "X" indicated that RM (or POMT) cannot find the document in question.
This happens often for datasheets and various 2D documents.
I've learned to not completely trust this indication, or at the very least verify it myself before I determine there is an issue.

My general rule of thumb is that if the associated application can find and edit/open the document, all is well.

Project Packager does not look at documents... It looks at the paths stored in the project.ini and includes all files in those folders.
