I am having a a very hard time getting my tap ports to come in at an angle other than 90deg. Is there a trick to this that one of you can share? Thanks.

I have also used a lot of time on tap ports. First I had the problem while designing in 3D. Then when I succeeded I had problems with Isogen.

My experience is to avoid using "Advanced tap port method" though it often solves the problem in 3D. Isogen just don't no how to handle it.

I always use construction lines (not intelligent centerlines) combined with the use of chamfer (dist=0). I have attached an image with minimum explanation.

Hope it helps.

this issue was discussed elsewhere - i will post the link, I ran a test with isogen and had no problems, but I only ran an iso of the two pipes. We all know isogen has an issue with multiple tap ports in a line, so this could be the cause of the problem previously mentioned.

All I can say is try it...
