MS Sharepoint integration

I wish Bentley or someone had a sharepoint dashboard for Vision. I think Vision is functionally great for the middleware that it is but it's UI layout and navigation is stale and outdated.
I know Projectwise XM has a Sharepoint solution called Startpoint. Maybe that's it. I will do some poking around.

Startpoint serves only as a document repository. Too weak for what I need it to be able to do.

Have you ever considered Vision being replaced with ProjectWise? Are they even updating Vision anymore, I'd say no. Seems to me they are focusing on newer software upgrades without using Vision in the future.

Could be Hybrid, I haven't heard. Personally, I think the entire suite is due for a major facelift. Though it gives you just about everything you need, the Vision UI is stale and outdated in my opinion. I think in XM, Bentley is phasing out Document Manager. Haven't heard anything about Vision yet.

I don't think that Bentley has officially acknowledged that they are not actively enhancing Vision and Document Manager. However, they are not taking a proactive stance on fixing any defects with the archiving feature in Vision. They are directing all of their clients to use the integration with ProjectWise when it comes to document management and control. At least the bigger ones.
