Spec Break Question (moving)

I am curious just on how other users move spec breaks when requested to do so. I have a process line that has a valve and then spec break placed on it, the engineering wants the spec to change prior to the valve. Just wondering what everyone else does for something like this compared to what I do.

I break it at the left of the valve. Is that what you're ssking?

The picture on the left shows the spec break on the left of the valve, they want it on the right side like the picture on the right. see picture attached

and what is wrong with the way you did it? Just reattach the valve to it's proper spec'd line. :)
