My latest client is requiring the insulation type in the line annotiaton. We are not using smart P&ID for this project, I see the field INSTYPE in the table for PIPE_RUN.
Where do I enter the different INSTYPE in to the project?
After that I need to add the search for the INSTYPE to the annotation.ebs long ling number annotation section. using a copy/edit using the insthk txt should work correct?
Did I forget any steps?

If you are not using P&ID then you will need to place the instype in the Process table if it doesn't exist already. 3D only pulls from the Process table or Tag_Reg for Line Id details, 2D pulls from either Tag_Reg, Process, or Piperun.

AH.... things are coming back to me as I explored more. I found the process table in the Prodata.mdb. Know I see within the component pref. there is a insulation type defaulted to AA is there a file holding that information and I can add additional type to?
