I wish that the project packager and unpackager would give you the option to give a different ID than what is assigned.
Yes I know this can be manually done, but why not just have it incorporated within the program? Even if the program had some way of verifying the current projects and then selecting the next available number.
Just a thought...

yes so do I. We just started sharing projects between our office and found this to be a problem. Having to create different roots for projects is a bit of a pain for clean organiztion.

really there is a pretty easy way around it. If you are just moving (or copying) the projects I just copy and paste (or zip and email). Bypass the project packager completely.
Then just go through the access.mdb, link the table to see the at_proj, add the new project ID in order, place the other new info save. Now I take the copied folder, rename to what I specified it as being in the access.mdb. Last but not least, I open the Project.ini, rename everything to the new project and like john madden says "BOOM" your done.
