Exporting Information

This is a long shot, but....

When exporting valve information, instead of grabbing everything, is there a way I can have it grab only certain fields?

I export all of my information and create reports in excel so engineers can add comments and other various items.

Quick answer:

Create a query (view) with just the fields you wish to export.

Or is this question more complex than I think it is...
