We stubin a 3/4" line into a blind flange. We have had no problems in the past doing this but for some reason this one project we can not get Isogen to run. Either it hangs or it will come out with _pass drawings. This what the .mes file states
SOFTWARE KEY ID NO. = 0
NO. OF AUTHORISED PLOTS = 0
NO. OF UNUSED PLOTS = 0
ISOGEN VERSION 8.12.6 (Build 5]
ERROR DETECTED IN PIPE /TG-400
(35:1060) WARNING - TAP OFF POINT CONNECTED TO STANDARD FITTING
- TAP OFF SHOWN FROM FITTING CENTRE
-
Has anyone else run into this problem?

I'll try to make the same arrangement and see what’s happening, and have tried to update Isogen? We are using build 16, but I still don't know the outcome. Our local network is not working at the moment, but I'll return with an answer as soon as possible.

Well now I have tried but without success. The message file looks the same though it's build 16:
SOFTWARE KEY ID NO. = 0
NO. OF AUTHORISED PLOTS = 0
NO. OF UNUSED PLOTS = 0
ISOGEN VERSION 8.12.6 (Build 16)
ERROR DETECTED IN PIPE /L31A2
(35:1060) WARNING - TAP OFF POINT CONNECTED TO STANDARD FITTING
- TAP OFF SHOWN FROM FITTING CENTRE
And the blind flange in the PCF-file:
FLANGE-BLIND
END-POINT 12068.746 18243.730 3000.000 200
FABRICATION-ITEM
ITEM-CODE FLGBLD200mm
WEIGHT 0.000
UNIQUE-COMPONENT-IDENTIFIER AT_EUUTSVJT_D4
PIPING-SPEC MCS300
TAP-CONNECTION
CO-ORDS 12069.267 18243.730 2900.000 15
END-POINT 12069.267 18243.730 2900.000 15 PL
SKEY FLBL
That probably didn't help you but at least you now know you're not the only one with the problem.
A solution could be to attach a general note to the blind flange, referring to a detail drawing.

Bundsbaek,
Thanks for trying that out for me. Now I know it is not just us having that problem.
Strange thing is that it will work on other lines. I wonder if it has something to do with the flange attach right at the tee. We have had problems in the past where it would fail if the line number changed right after the branch on the tee. Maybe this is sort of the same problem.
Did you lay out the piping like the file I attach earlier?
Does anyone have problems running any lines by line number? We have so what I found is we have to select the line manually by sections and it will run? Another stumper.
Have a great day

Yes in the same way and made the selection manually.

I have also noticed a difference between selecting the lines manually ore using linenr. from project. There's also a difference depending on weld type though a haven't a precise description.

Jakob

what version of aplant are you at and what patches have you installed. We used to have problems with the advanced feature until some of the later patches came out.
