Would you pay a yearly membership fee of $20/year

So it is that after 6 years of owning and operating this website the annual
cost of running it in terms of both time and out-of-pocket expense are
starting to catch up. For me personally, the ends simply don't justify the
means. Hosting ads just doesn't cut it as they are ugly and distracting.

I know that for many of you, this site provides an experience that you
cannot get elsewhere short of a vendor support call but with the benefit of
having the ability to chat live with experts who can answer 90% of your
questions in real time.

One of the options I am tossing around is to make the site a "members only"
site for the low low cost of $20/year. I know that for some of you this may
not be an option but for others, the benefits of this site far outweigh the
$1.60/mo cost of a membership. I would appreciate you taking a few moments to answer honestly. The post will be here for 7 days.

Yes I would pay an annual membership. At this price, its nothing for what you get back. Aslong as it does not rice to the amounts of autocad or Bentley memberships. These prices are way to high.

the fee you are asking is a modest ammount given the benefit this site delivers. i applaud the commitment of the dave tyner team of experts providing this hands on knowledge not found easily elsewhere for free. yes i would pay the fee.
