I just loaded Mechnical Desktop r2007 for testing. In r2004 there was a tool where you could import custom toolbars from previous versions. Does r2007 how this feature? If so where can I find it.

Thanks

I beleive there is no difference in syntax between AutoCAD 2004 and 2007 menus. If your toolbars are in a separate menu file in AutoCAD 2004, you could load that in Mdt2007, I quess.

Just to be safe...you might want to add the Icon folder to the Support File Path. Nothing more annoying than a toolbar with questionmarks.

Cheers.

There is a huge difference between toolbars (and manu's in global) between 2004 and later versions. In (pre-) 2004 the menu-base is ascii format (acad.mnu can be edited with notepad) and is compiled in mns, mnr and mnc.
From 2005 on, the base file is acad.cui and is in XML format. Editing is only possible through the autoCAD interface (activated by typing CUI on the command line). The cui interface also has an option to convert mnu to cui.
