I am using AutoPlant P&ID Version 8.6. I made some modification to meet my company's needs (pid_def, pid.mnu, pid-sup.lsp, settings.dbf...etc) and everything works fine in my office. When I send all of these modified files to my remote locations is when the attached limmax error occurs.

When they use Vision to create a new file this error displays after the OK button is selected on the P&ID settings dialog. Then the program skips over the Drawing Parameters dialog. None of the commands are recognized.

The bizzar thing is that if I give the same modified files to the people in my office there is no error :o

PLEASE HELP!!!

Does it work on the remote locations without your changes ? You can replace the individual files with the normal ones to detect which file causes the error, I would bet on pid_def or pid-sup.lsp. And a second guess would be that it has something to do with the border. P&id calculates the size of the inserted border and sets the limits accordingly. And your limmax seems to be very small, even for imperial ;-) If the border line on your border drawing is a rectangle, the program will not detect the upper right corner. Draw 4 lines instead, or place a point in the upper right corner.

Thanks...that worked. I created a rectangle in my template of size 36,24 and placed it in defpoints layer.
