View Full Version : SPLM upgrade from v.10 to v.11 for SPPID 2009 Sp2 pdlice error
I just upgraded to SPLM 11.0 / SPPID 2009 sp2 and now I am getting a SPLM error "No Seats available". I checked the license server and there are seats. I can ping the license server np.
Also, this was working before fine before the upgrade. Anyone else have this happen?
So it turns out when you upgrade from SPLM 10.0 to SPLM 11.0 and then set the license server name in SPLM, a carriage return gets appended to the server_names key in Pdlice_etc in the registry. I simply removed the box and voilla! Oh well, at least I won't have to spend all of tuesday figuring this out!

Is this about SPLM 11.00.07.00 ?
If so, many more SmartPlant Applications will be involved.
What happens if you use a dos command line to enter the server name ?
pdlice.exe -j ServerName
Does it also add something ?
Have you made a SR @Intergraph ?
Patrick, yes sorry for not being specific there. I edited the original post.
When I upgraded from SPLM 10 to 11 for SP2 - the server name was appended with a carriage return.
Setting the name from the dos command DOES work and I did let Ingr know about the problem. Thanks ;)
