Component Preferences Causes a Fatal Error

All of a sudden every time I try and open Component Preferences I get a AutoCAD Fatal error. It isn't isolated to a single project as I have tried several drawings with the same result.

I really don't know what is causing this as I have not changed any settings


Can anybody help?
