So i am trying to test the functionality of the Flatten program within v8i. I have never had much faith or luck with it in XM and certainly not in 8.6.
So here is what I have so far. I have created a very basic model with some pipe that crosses over itself a couple of time at different elevations. I have then created a Viewport with a scale of 1:30.
When I run Flattener I load the drawing, I then assign a destination location ( same as orig) Once I run the program I get what you can see in the attached file. there is an Error msg that says is cannot find the drawing FLAT_Flat-Test.dwg the part that has me confused is this drawing of course doesn't exist as it is what is supposed to be created. For whatever reason it seems that it is looking for the file that it is supposed to create. Hopefully that is clear. The prgram then tells me that it has successfully created the Flattened drawing in the specified folder (with the name that it says it can't find). however when I look in this folder.... it is not there. I have tried to adjust the destination folder to my Desktop with the same result.
