Process Data not retained, insultion tags w\ no data

Hello,

There are several process lines that will not hold any of the Process data; ie. Insulation Specs, pnum specs and so on. As a result when we try to enter an insulation symbol, no specs are added.



Let me give you a little history on the lines that we are having trouble with. In the beginning of this project, we had initially set the project up as Mixed Metric. About a third through the P&IDs we switched to Imperial. It seems that all the process lines which were built pre the Imperial switch will not retain the Process data.



We have dumb text the data into the lines and the insulation symbols for the time being.

so you switched unit types in the middle of a project?

Sure enough, the tag is in the TAG_REG table but not in the process table. Two questions:

Where did those tags go?

How can we get the tag to populate in the process table and show up for our 3D guys?

answer: replace the schema and project .mdb's (MSDE project) and

1) copy major and minor lines > paste > create additional link

2) create assembly (or make exchange drawing) > delete drawing > make new drawing > insert assembly > re-link arrows
