So when using the Assembly Manager it will prompt for you to select breakout lines. What is the purpose behind breakout lines? What exactly is it referring to when asking about breakout lines?
Just curious, thanks!

those are small line you can draw to show the gap that must be made in a process line that must be broken on assembly insertion.fe : if you want to create an assembly of a control valve with two handvalves on either side (allowing to isolate the valve) :
-draw the valves in a line
-draw 3 autocad lines that 'close' the gaps made by the valves
-create assembly, don't include the process line between the valves and don't include the autocad lines a, but select them as break-out lines
-when inserting the assembly, the new selected process line will be trimmed at the valves and the valves will be linked to it
