View Full Version : iModel
I have been tasked with installing iModel here. Does anyone know about it? Have you used it? Do you like it?
I heard it's pretty slick so we'll see.

As in Bentley's iModel Composer?
If so, it is similar\same as ProjectWise Navigator (depending on what version).
really?? I didn't care for PW Navigator too much. I thought it was some new revolutionary state of the art thing. Bummer

I talked about it in this thread when I originally demo'd it:

I have tried Imodel. As you said its works like navis works. I-model composer actually extract data from the model or P&Id irrespective of package you are using i.e Autoplant, PDS, PDMS. It creates saperate dgn file which then open through Projectwise navigator.
1. We only explore data through a model only if it is publish with I-mode.
2.Opening of I-model generated .dgn is very fast as compared to direc opening of models.
