OPC from one plant to Another

Can we connect one OPC from one plant to another Plant? We have some pipelines going form one to another? How can we handle this ?

I have no knowlegde that this can be done. If anyone does, please do reply also.

In the meanwhile, I would advise to create your own OPC symbol, which looks exactly like an OPC, but is in fact and "end component" like a blind flange.
Creating a separate report of all these false OPCs in both plants and comparing the 2 reports should make this manageble.
