The technical marketing manager leverages deep Plant product and market expertise to create and deliver technical marketing materials, sales tools and training programs to Field Sales, Application Engineers (AEs) and Resellers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Creates technical sales collateral and sales tools, including presentations and demo scripts.
Works with a cross functional team to design training programs and teach the sales channel how to sell the product. Reviews technical content for Field training materials.
Trains internal and external AEs on delivering product presentations and demonstrations.
Creates and/or manages development of technical documents (e.g. white papers) which contain details on product vision or technical architecture.
Maintains a comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of the technologies of her/his domain and insight into the industry practices, workflows, and business processes.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of competing solutions and how they compare with Autodesk solutions.
Provides product and market expertise for events such as conferences, tradeshows, webinars, and seminars and conducts demos for products and solutions when appropriate
Builds, maintains and manages relationships with external technical Consultants in order to tap specialized expertise as needed.
