Had anyone added a new AutoPLANT Selections to this dialog box to include symbology for a Tie-In?

are you meaning something that will show up in an iso?
If yes, AutoISO or Isogen?
If no, do you want to see it as a symbol on the model? Plan drawings?

Yeah, I've done it. It is fairly easy to do yourself for Isogen or AutoPlant Iso.

I just use the comment feature and it gets the point across...

Yes we would like to make it come out on the face of the iso using Isogen. As far as showing on the model or plan drawing, it can be shown as comment bubble displays. But when the iso is dropped we want the Hexagon symbol with the line going across.
Any ideas on how to get started? Thanks everyone for the quick responses.

Thats what we use...the comment. If you set it to "Pointed Ends" and use a $ to force a return (i.e. PI$1090) you will get a "decent" (as far as Isogen is concerned) tie-in type looking thing.

That’s exactly what we are doing now, but the "Pointed End" is not a standard symbol for our clients. The designers have to go back and replace the symbols after they drop the isos. We do the first step to make sure we get the location correct.

One thing you will have to accept is that not all symbology that the client wants will come out nicely in Isogen. The MESSAGE-POINTED is the most common solution to this hexagonal tie-in symbol need.

Could anybody point a newbie to how you actually call up this dialog?
