Is a new version Bentley AutoPLANT V8i: - (Select Series2)

I need help with installation Autoplant. I have installed AutoCAD Mechanical, but I do not want to install Autoplant for Autocad Mechanical profile but under profile Autocad.

not sure I totally understand your problem...BUT... when you install AutoPlant it will create its own profile and will not effect your Mechanical profile, at least not to my knowledge. Autoplant will have its own profile for both PID and Piping.

If I am understanding you correctly you what AutoPLANT to load Vanilla AutoCAD instead of of AutoCAD Mechanical.

I am not sure if there is away to have AutoPLANT use Vanilla AutoCAD profile to base it's profile off of.

Hopefully someone here will chime in and help you out on this. If not you may need to go to the Big B.

Yes you understand. I need load Autoplant from Vanilla profile. When I install AutoPlant it will create its own profile, but with mechanical menu. I want Install Autoplant it will create its own profile from vanilla profile.

There is nothing stopping you from simply making the profile be what you want it to be AFTER install. If you only want just the AutoCAD features then set up your support paths\menus\workspaces appropriately and then save out an .arg file for other users to use as well.

..or start with a working profile (including mechanical) and remove everything you don't need (inluding mechanical)
