Is it possible to create my own valves and use them in the same way as a valve which is now in the database?

If you mean adding valves to the Catalog/Spec databases then yes that is fairly straghtforward.

Creating a custom valve type that you can then reference in your catalogs & specs is a little more involved.

So the question is:
Do you need the same type of valve that AP already offers, only you need a different description? Or are you needing a new type of valve all together (i.e. Tandem Plug, Double Ball & Bleed, Orbit, etc....these would be custom valves that you would want a separate menu pick for as well as a different symbol in the drawing from all the rest)
