SPPID 2007 "install loop" error on opening

Occasionally I have an issue where the opening of SPPID drawing manager will trigger an install loop. Basically the sofware is trying to install something anytime I do anything Smartplant related.

It seems to happen when I leave my computer logged into SPPID all night.

Has anyone else seen this or have a fix (besides reinstalling which is what I am about to do)

I repaired the install and everything is OK. It's annoying though.

No, I have not seen that issue.
But my colleque has sometimes a similar issue with SP Electical. We did not find the cause or a soution either.
Do you perhaps have scheduled tasks overnight related to the draft engine (SmartSketch, SmartPlant) that could mess up each other ?
Do you have other applications installed ? (SmartSketch, SP Electrical, SPInstrumentation Enhanced SmartLoop)
Could windows update or the re-appying of some IE or windows security profiles mess up things ?

I've had that happen as well. It seems to stop after repairing the install though. I agree Dave....it's annoying.
