PW Navigator V8i SS2 AutoPLANT Database Setup

Hello,

We have begun to use PW Navigator as of today, looks pretty simple to use, but does anyone know how to actually link the graphics to the database? I have read a post here, but looks like it might have been for an earlier release. They option "Navigate" does not exist in my version. Thanks.

I guess we should stick with the good old NavisWorks.

Perhaps, but if all you you reading this forum could pass the folowing messages to your Software dealer representatives:

"Today AutoCAD and MicroStation are able to edit each other DWG and DGN cad files.
Wouldn't it be a great idea that NavisWoks and Navigator could read each others NWD and Imodel files ?
Then AutoDESK only needs to support their own vertical and only needs to develop object enabelers for their products
and Bentley also only needs to create readers for their famely of products."

If we all pass this message thourgh, then perhaps some future releases are really going to be capable of that,
and our jobs just might become a bit easier...

I have same question here. Does anyone give some hint on setting up database connection for AutoPLANT?
