Today is Canadian Thanksgiving! Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to all you Canucks out there!!
This from the Wiki for those of us needing a refresher...
Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day (Canadian French (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_French): Jour de l'Action de grāce), occurring on the second Monday in October (since 1959), is an annual Canadian holiday (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holiday) to give thanks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gratitude) at the close of the harvest season. Although the original act of Parliament references God (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God) and the holiday is celebrated in churches, the holiday is now mostly celebrated in a secular (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secularity) manner.
