Placement Point Of Equipment

As we all know every equipment, equipment componenets and shapes having placement point. The software calculates the co-ordinate according to the placement point. Is it possible to change the default placement point or add a new placement point? For example by default Horizontal centrifugal pump having a placement point near to its suction nozzle. so by default this pump will be placed by this point . I want to place pump with a different point lets say by foundation . Anybody have any idea ...thank very much in advance.

Origin of equipment is defined in VB code. If you want to change it, you have to modify VB source and recompile it.
All element's location is calculated based on that point. So modifying code is not so easy when the shape is complecated.

I don't recommend to do that.
