Ok so this is a follow up thread in corispondence to my previous thread about the link update mode.

So a lot of items were deleted from the project with the link regen set to manual. Yes, I made a mistake....

What is the best way to roll through these P&ID's to find out what does exist in the DWG and what doesnt? This is what I have come about doing:

Using the Find Tag feature, just simply clicking on each single item. Anything that isnt not found, I flag. That's the only thing I can think of. Does anyone else have any other ideas?

Couldn't you just use AT_ASI_REPAIR function on every P&ID?

In version 2004 it started the repair (same you get when you get when you use qsave or exit in XM). It recreates all items on the drawing that are missing in the database.

just press the 'update now' button in the link and regen -options

You may try recover dwg (http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/dwg.html) for repair .dwg files. The utility can't modify source data during restoration. The program starts under low system requirements and any system configuration. It has easy to use, intuitive interface is suitable for any experienced user.
