I receive this error on the AutoCAD command line for my Gate, Globe, and Control Valve. I am also getting this error when trying to create new valves. Just today I did a full re-install of AutoPLANT and AutoCAD. I did the re-install to try and fix many small issues that I am having. I also replaced all the essential files in my custom folder with "out of the box" files (pid.mnu, pid-sup.lsp....ect) I am not sure whats going on.

Hi Infilcolee
What version of P&ID are you using? And what version of AutoCAD?
Try to open up your control panel and do a repair install on P&ID , then start vanilla AutoCAD to get the correct profile loaded.
Then try to start P&ID again...

AutoPLANT: 8.11.7.60
AutoCAD: 2010 (Native)
Shouldn't the re-install have done the same thing as a 'repair'. I did a repair a few days ago. I did not notice any difference.

Ya should have
Open up your P&ID .. go to tools> options and check your Files tab.
Under there in Support paths you should have the following paths up at the top
C:\Program Files\Bentley\Plant V8i\support_2d
C:\Program Files\Bentley\Plant V8i\Support
Let me know if that is correct

Fixed the issue!
When you replace the settings.dbf file in the custom folder, you have to delete the settings.cdx file as well. This is just a temporary file that gets reloaded every time you open AutoPLANT. The settings.cdx must have been corrupted.
Thanks for the help.

I wish they would move that part of the software to a more modern platform. Dbase II is beyond old.
