Comparing Company Standard Build Project to New Project

Hi,

I wanted to know if people had any advice on comparing different components of, say, a companies standard build rules, symbols etc etc to what has been created on a new project?

There are 2 tools which can help you doing this.
1) Data Dictionary Template Comparison Utility ( This will only cover Data dictionary) which means nothing which is part of reference data as physical files(symbols, rules, insulation manager, itemtag)
2)Reference data sync manager - I guess this will be more useful.

But still there are few things which may not be covered by automated tools (like item tag) so try both utilities on some test projects and study which method or combination suits your requirements.
