Drawing Straight Line / Extend Command in SPPID

Is there anyway to Draw a straight line to connect to the other line (like what we do in CAD) / or any extend command in SPPID. Sometimes when connecting lines the points does not exactly get connected to the end of the line rather it gets stuck a little more than required.

You should indicate and pick up the endpoint of the 1st line
and then drag it over the 2nd line without clicking. The new connection point should lit up. When that is correct, then click to approve the new connection
