By now we configuere the brief properties in SPP&ID so we can view only the properties that we use for Pipe runs, Instruments, Equipment, etc.
But, Is there any way to have different "brief views" for instrument of different Process Function?
For ex: For Control Valves we use a lot of properties that instrument like Pressure or Temperature doesn't have. Can i hide them in the properties window if the instrument is a Pressure Transmitter?
I hope you could understand my question.

I understand the question.
-> If you define the specific Properties on the level of the "Instrument Class" or "Type" I quess that you run into troulbe so I would not go that way.
I'm not sure, but can't you specify the "category" of the property
so that if you look in the brief properties, but "categroised" you would see "Pressure", "Temperature" and "Control Properties" and it would only be a matter of (not) expanding this category depending on the intrument you select.
But every end-user needs to do this manually,.

Patrick_Aps ,
Ok, I understand you, but I think that i don't have those categories in SPP&ID (Pressure and Temperature).
I have: Control, Drawing, Identification, Miscellaneous, Physical, Piping Connection, Piping Jacket, Process, Properties Break, Responsibility, Signal Connection and Status. (and I remember Piping Point 1 and Piping Point 2).
Can I create categories like Temperature or Pressure? How? Or did you mean to something else?
Thank you for your help,

Though I didnt try it but can I think we use Filter and customise each view. Like For each process function.

Hello!
Yes it's possible. Go to Data Manager and in the "Property Categories" (or something like that) in the list entries.
