Hello Guys,

I delete the object from P&ID drawing, but the data didn't synchronize in time.I execute the MEND command and ERASE command, and then saved the drawing .But the data exist in the datamanager also.

How to make the consistency? Any help?

There could be a few reason's for this. First there may be a link to another object in another drawing or the same drawing. If that is the case then the database will not change. Second you may have used an incorrect command, but you said you used mend or erase, they both should work unless you used the AutoCadd button for erase (this is not intelligently linked) you must used the command at the command line or use the "Group Erase" command.

If you type SLP at the command line you will see the intel points come up. You will be able to CATT on these, if one of them is your erased item then you can do a simple erase on the node and that will clear your database, you may find you get a repair database window come up when you save, make sure you uncheck all the boxes then click OK. To get rid of the SLP nodes type HIDELINKPTS a the command line. One thing .... if when you turn on your SLP nodes and they seem to be everywhere that is scattered across your drawing try typing at the command line MOVEXDPTS, this will realign your nodes with their parent symbol.

there is an "audit tool" that checks drawings and database and shows lost items on both sides AND allows a cleanup. It's not part of the soft, but is distributed by support guys from Bentley. I can also mail it.

Plantworker, I've used the audit tool and I believe it only makes the entity "deleteable" but doesn't actually delete the entity out of the DB. Is that correct?...so much still to learn.

At the Bentley Conference in Charlotte, NC (USA) we asked the lady their the same question... she thought we were crazy until we showed her this. She ended up calling Bentley support and we got an answer. I have it written down at home in the book I took to write notes on. Ill chime in tomorrow if I remember to bring it in to work.
